Yellow UV Sea Glass Double Banded Ring - Size 8.5
This beautiful piece of UV Yellow sea glass was found in Hawaii. Originally called “Uranium Glass,” UV (short for ultraviolet), It looks ordinary under normal light, then turns a vibrant, glowing bright lime when exposed to a black light.The bezel is wrapped with Fine Silver. I used twisted square wire that I ran through a rolling mill. This gave the wire a twisted appearance on the sides of the flat band. The sea glass rests on two bands that are soldered together at the base of the rings. The UV sea glass measures 16mm x 11mm. This statement ring was hand made with 925 Sterling silver and fine silver.

Sterling silver does tarnish. I suggest using a jewelry cleaning cloth when jewelry shows tarnish.
